The 27th IUGG General Assembly 2019 took place in Montreal, Canada, from 8-18 July. Daniel Hölbling presented two posters at this conference. The poster “Mapping the Evolution of the Butangbunasi Landslide, Taiwan, using Landsat Time Series” showed a study about a large landslide and how it changed after typhoon events. The second poster “Semi-automated Farm-scale Assessment of Revegetation of Landslide Scars” focused on a method to map landslides and their impact on revegetation on regional scale in New Zealand. The IUGG with its broad range of topics offered a very good opportunity to present and discuss results of RiCoLa with international scientists.
